BACKGROUND

After selling their highly successful revegetation, erosion control, reclamation design, and weed control business, the Eye On Nature owners started this company to continue the tradition of high-quality workmanship, old-school ethics and morals, and second-to-none  Client service.  Eye On Nature is vastly diversified and focuses on providing services that emphasize the utilization of natural products and materials, with long-term sustained use as a goal.

COMPANY OBJECTIVE

Eye On Nature has as a primary objective to focus on providing services that emphasize the utilization of natural products and materials, with long-term sustained minimization of environmental impact as a goal.   How can we best live in our world with the least negative impact on our environment?   We attempt to provide answers to this question in a number of ways as described in the Capabilities section.

    FOUNDER

    Ron Schreibeis owned and operated one of the largest reclamation and reseeding companies in the Mountain West. He recently sold that company and is looking to use his 50 years of knowledge to help those in the Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Colorado area.

  • Serving Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado with an emphasis on utilizing USA made products and natural materials.

  • Expertise in Revegetation Design including Seed Mixtures designed specifically for your project’s soil and site conditions, soil nutrient requirements, soil amendments, soil conditioners, mulches, erosion protection, and BMP’s for temporary erosion protection to meet SWPPP requirements and more. We utilize the Owner’s past company for providing the actual construction and installation of these materials when appropriate. The Eye On Nature Owner has over 45 years of experience in natural habitat development, native plant identification and utilization, and in designing and/or installing native plants in a wide variety of environmental habitats from ponds and riversides to wetlands, alluvial valley soils, and upland sites ranging from Southwestern USA desert environments to subalpine and alpine zones in the northern latitudes. Prairie, grassland, shrubland, and other semi-arid ecotypes are his specialty.

Experience

Property Management:   We have been managing residential and commercial properties through the Owner since 1976.   Management includes all aspects of maintenance and repair as well as income and expense statements and related financial aspects of property management.   Management varies from 450 SF condominiums to 6,000 SF shop buildings and from half lot older housing to multiple acre properties. 

 

Landscape Projects – Residential:    From natural rock pathways, flagstone patios and firepits, moss rock boulder retaining walls, native wildflowers and shrubs, deciduous and evergreen trees, native mountain scenes in your backyard! And much more.  The company’s focus is on landscape designs that trend to emphasize nature and natural products and materials.

 

Landscape Projects – Commercial:  From managing small 1-day home owner repair or upgrade projects to managing the largest high school landscaping project west of the Mississippi, the Owner has 45 years of experience with all aspects of landscaping from irrigation systems, to xeriscaping and everything in between. 

 

Environmental Consulting Services: We have first-hand experience in both designing and building thousands of revegetation projects throughout the West and as far east as Arkansas and South Carolina.  Our expertise is in dryland revegetation in the West.
